In the world of marketing Noise, can be your worst nightmare.
"Noise is an extraneous factor that can work against effective communication by distorting a message or the feedback received."
One example of noise is very simple and common, this would be something like a printing error. An ad or flier which has been improperly printed, and will then distract the reader and disturb the message you are trying to relay and market.
Another example comes in the form of peer to peer. This is where you are trying to sell an idea or product to a prospecting customer/ consumer and they don't understand what you are trying to say or describe.
A side note to the peer to peer message would be due to the use of improper grammar or slang when selling a product, or even simply having an accent.
